KBS Long Drive Cup Event Description Page

Event Time: Every Thursday 15:00~19:00

Event Location: KBS Taipei Flagship Store (No. 116, Hengyang Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City)

How to Participate:

  1. Open to everyone regardless of identity or age. Scoring is separated by gender, with a limit of 20 participants per week.
  2. Registration is on-site. To qualify, complete the registration form, create a public social media post tagging @KBS Golf Experience Taipei, and include the hashtag #KBSLongDriveChallenge.
  3. Each person is limited to one entry per week. Each entry includes three attempts and one practice swing; the practice swing does not count toward the score. The session must be completed in one go, and swapping participants mid-session is not permitted.
  4. Challengers must use the clubs provided by the KBS Taipei Flagship Store on the day of the event. Men who drive over 250 yards and women who drive over 175 yards will receive a small gift.
  5. Those who reach the threshold (Men: 275 yards; Women: 200 yards) and surpass the current record holder for the longest distance will win the grand prize.

Grand Prize:

  1. A custom-built driver (KBS shaft + club head + grip).
  2. Waiver of assembly fees for the prize club and the fitting fee for that session.
  3. One case of Damao Beer + one pack of Damao Sausage. For minors, the prize will be replaced with one case of non-alcoholic beverages + one pack of Damao Sausage.
  4. A set of KBS Long Drive Cup record holder commemorative items.

Prize Collection Instructions:

  1. Upon qualifying for the grand prize, you may collect the KBS Long Drive Cup record holder commemorative set on the day. Please schedule a separate appointment at the KBS Taipei Flagship Store for your fitting.
  2. Winners must present their ID upon arrival for the fitting and sign a prize confirmation form. Winners under 18 years of age must provide a consent form signed by a legal guardian along with a copy of their household registration or an original household certificate.
  3. The right to claim the prize is non-transferable. If you must authorize someone to collect it on your behalf, please provide a letter of authorization along with the original IDs of both parties for the organizer's verification.
  4. If the prize needs to be shipped overseas, the winner is responsible for international shipping costs. Refusal to pay these costs will be treated as a forfeiture of the prize.
  5. Winners must provide complete and accurate information as requested for prize collection. Prizes will be released only after the organizer verifies the information.
  6. In accordance with R.O.C. tax laws, winners must pay 10% tax and submit relevant identification documents before claiming the prize. Non-residents of the R.O.C. (citizens or foreigners who have resided in the R.O.C. for less than 183 days) are subject to a 20% withholding tax on the value of the prize, which the organizer will report within 10 days.
  7. Failure to visit the store for fitting and submit the required documentation within 30 days of winning will be considered a forfeiture of the prize.
  8. Each individual is limited to winning the grand prize once in their lifetime and may not claim it repeatedly.

Participants in this event agree to comply with the terms set by the organizer. Failure to comply may result in disqualification, and no objections will be accepted:

  1. Agree to abide by the event rules announced by the organizer.
  2. Agree to the collection of personal data for tax reporting, prize delivery, and event notifications.
  3. Agree to the publication of the winner list and event photos on relevant platforms, print media, or other channels.

※ The organizer reserves the right to modify, change, suspend, or cancel the event content. Any changes will be announced in advance on the official website or on-site, and the latest announcement shall prevail.
